Cover Letter

In my design choices, I aimed to create a site that feels less like a piece of flashy design and more like a space for reading. To make it easier to read for longer periods, I used a light background with darker text and kept the use of color minimal so the main focus stays on the writing. I also included one accent color to help with navigation without distracting from the content.

For the layout, I followed the structure of the assignment closely. The site includes the following pages: About, Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, Conclusion, and Cover Letter. Each project page is organized the same way, with a title, a brief introduction, the revised essay, and a reflection section. Keeping this consistent helps make the site easier to follow and keeps everything clear.

For the text, I chose two fonts: a serif font for headings and a sans-serif font for the main writing. The goal was not to make the text stand out visually, but to make sure it is easy to read. I also paid attention to spacing, margins, and line length so the essays do not feel crowded and are comfortable to read on screen.
